How to Apply
Normal entry points at GSG are in
Kindergarten, Pre Primary, and Years 6, 8 and 11.
However, students are admitted at other levels if a
vacancy exists. Applications may be lodged at
any time but as we offer places in the order in which
applications are received, the earlier an application is
lodged the greater confidence parents can have that a
place may be available.
To apply for enrolment at Great Southern Grammar,
please download and complete an
Application for Admission form and return it to the school with
the application fee.
Application Process
On receipt of a completed application
form, future students are wait-listed on the school's
enrolment register. Approximately 12 months prior to the
student commencing at the school, families are offered to
attend an interview and a tour of the school to allow
families and the school to become acquainted. A copy of
the student's birth certificate is required before
entry to the Early Childhood Centre. For all other
years a copy of the child's most recent school
report should be provided prior to the interview.
Following the interview, the school will send written
communication offering a confirmed place. To
accept an offer, payment of a non-refundable
endowment fee is required to complete the enrolment process and secure
the student's place.
Application and Enrolment Policy
Application and Endowment Fees
A $50 application fee is payable upon application for
admission. This is a non-refundable administration fee for
enrolment processing.
To enable the school to provide quality buildings and
facilities and to complete the enrolment process, a
non-refundable, non-transferable $2,000 endowment fee is
payable per child. This is required to confirm your
child's place upon signing the Notice of Acceptance
contract. This fee is in addition to tuition fees.
Students entering the Early Childhood Centre are required
to pay $500 as part payment and the remaining $1,500 upon
entry to Junior School.
Waiting List
Upon receipt of an Application for Admission, each
child is placed on the waiting list for the relevant year
of entry in order of the date the application is received
by the school. Parents are offered a Notice of
Acceptance contract approximately 12 months prior to
commencement which confirms enrolment.
Educational Requirements
The most recent school report and NAPLAN results will
be required at an interview with the Headmaster or Head of
Sub-School upon signing the Notice of Acceptance contract.
