School Bus Services

Great Southern Grammar uses Love's Bus Service to provide bus transport to and from school. Any questions regarding bus timetables and tickets should be directed to Love's Bus Services on (08) 9841 1211.

Public Transport  Area

Students living within the Albany Public Transport Area can purchase tickets directly from Love's Bus Services, 17 Vine Street Albany, or from the driver.

Transport Assistance for Rural Students

Students who live outside the Albany Public Transport Area may be eligible for State Government Transport Assistance. To be eligible for transport assistance, a rural student attending a mainstream school must, under normal circumstances:

  • Be enrolled at their nearest appropriate school.
  • Be at least three years and six months of age and under 19 years of age.
  • Regularly attend their school.
  • Reside more than 4.5 km from their school.
  • Reside outside designated Public Transport Areas.

For more information regarding Transport Assistance or to make an application visit the School Bus Service website.

Behaviour on Buses

When on a bus, Great Southern Grammar students are reminded that they are school ambassadors and are expected to maintain the same high standard of behaviour, manners  and adherence to uniform regulations as is expected at school.

Misbehaviour on the buses will not be tolerated by Love's Bus Service. They will issue one warning only. Repeat offenders can be put off the bus and will have to apply in writing to request to travel again.
