Position: Boarding Recreation Officer

Work Type: Casual, weekends and afternoons/evenings.

We are developing a small team of Recreation Officers to organise and deliver a variety of interesting, fun activities for the wide range of interests of our boarders. If you have great organisational skills, enthusiasm, good rapport with young people, and have previous experience supporting or coordinating sport and recreation programmes, we want to hear from you. The shifts available are on a Friday afternoon/evening, Saturday and/or Sunday, during school term time, excluding Boarders closed weekends.

Position: Boarding Supervisors

Closing Date: Ongoing — applications are processed as they are received.
Work Type: Casual, weekends and afternoons/evenings.

This casual role involves work across a number of different shifts in Great Southern Grammar’s five onsite Boarding Houses, leading and supervising students in the residential environment, while contributing to their social, emotional, educational, physical and spiritual development.

Position: Relief Teachers (Junior School)
Closing Date: Ongoing
Work Type: Casual

The school is seeking the services of qualified educators to join the Junior School relief teaching staff. This incorporates pre-Kindergarten (commencing 2020) to Year Six. The ideal team member is flexible and willing to learn and possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as an overall commitment to excellence.

Your application must include:

  • Staff Application Form: please complete the form providedhere 
  • Cover Letter: A brief covering letter stating the area of teaching in which you are seeking relief work, and your availability.
  • Curriculum Vitae: Outline your personal details, qualifications, education and professional memberships and relevant work history. Relevant work history should include a brief outline of the duties and responsibilities associated with each role. Please provide the FTE and dates/period of employment for each of the positions.
  • Referees: The names and details of two people who have consented to act as professional referees. This can be listed on the Staff Application Form.
  • Documentation Required:
    • Copy of Working With Children Check Card
    • Evidence of relevant qualification
    • Evidence of TRBWA Registration
    • Evidence of CEWA Mandatory Reporting Training (if training completed)

Applications for relief will not be considered unless this documentation is provided. Prior to being engaged in relief work you will be asked to attend an interview.
