Spirit of Grammar Scholarship

The Spirit of Grammar Scholarship reflects the school’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging, providing students who would not ordinarily have access to an independent schooling experience the opportunity to exceed in their schooling. GSG has two intakes of scholars per year.
This scholarship is open to new students to the school only from Year Five to Year Twelve.
Criteria
- Demonstration of family financial hardship
- Strong academic standing
- NAPLAN results at state average or above
- Active engagement in music, sport or other cocurricular activity
- Citizenship and positive contribution to activities in and out of school
- Demonstration of determination, engagement and perseverance in all aspects of schooling
- Demonstration the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of schooling
- Day students only
- Covers up to 60% based on individual assessment of application
The Spirit of Grammar Scholarship is made possible through the GSG Foundation, which supports the school through scholarships to actively make our GSG community a better place for all.
