How to Enjoy the Amusements at Kingfisher Fair!
This year, we are excited to offer a variety of amusements at the Kingfisher Fair and we are doing things a little differently!
The P&F provides most amusements in partnership with the school and can be accessed with a wristband, available for purchase from Reception. Wristbands cost $15 and include five turns on any of the listed rides. Each turn is marked off on the band and families are welcome to share one wristband between children.
Wristband Amusements include:
- Laserscape
- Giant Maze
- Tractor Combo
- Gladiator
- Little Pirate
- 20ft Accelerator Slide
- 9-Hole Mini Golf
Additional Attractions:
There are also free activities, such as the Kalgan Fire Brigade truck – be sure to support their raffle on the day! Some student-run enterprises will also be operating. These are not covered by wristbands, as proceeds go directly to the students.
We hope your family enjoys the amusements and that they add to the fun and festive atmosphere of the day!
Cash
A reminder that most stalls at the Kingfisher Fair are only able to accept cash. It will be really helpful if visitors bring small denominations with them. However, we are pleased to advise that we will be able to offer a limited EFTPOS 'cash out only' facility at Reception in the main Administration building.
Water Refill Stations
Please be reminded that water refill stations are available throughout the campus. To reduce our reliance on bottled water, remember to bring your own water bottle with you.
Pet Parade
Would your pet like to join in the fun of the Fair? If so, register them for the Pet Parade for a $5.00 entry fee.
On the day, please make sure that your pet is on a leash when on school grounds.
The parade will be held at 1.15pm (meet at the flagpole at the quad) with categories for:
- Best Dressed Pet
- Owner/Pet Look-Alike
- Best Behaved Pet
- Star of the Show
Market Stalls
Hand-made cards, seedlings, fresh produce, second-hand books, toys and clothes (in good condition), homemade scrunchies, firewood, plants, bags of manure.
FOOD VENDORS
Come hungry! There will be a fantastic variety of food vendors, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
Thank you for supporting our school community!
Great Southern Grammar acknowledges that the land upon which we learn, play and grow is Menang land, whose traditional custodians are the Noongar people. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that their sovereignty was never ceded.
