Media Statement: Great Southern Grammar graduate’s artwork showcased at The West Australian Pulse 2023

Great Southern Grammar 2022 graduate Henry Baker’s artwork has been included in The West Australian Pulse Exhibition held at the Art Gallery of WA.

Henry’s piece titled ‘The Oracles’, features in the exhibition alongside artworks by 61 selected Year Twelve graduates from schools across WA.

Great Southern Grammar’s Principal Mark Sawle said it was great to see past student’s artwork showcased at this annual exhibition.

“We are excited that Henry’s artwork was selected as part of the exhibition showcasing works by 2022 Year Twelve Visual Arts graduates from across WA.”

“On behalf of the school community I would like to congratulate Henry for his outstanding achievement,” Mr Sawle said.

WA's talented young artists are celebrated in this yearly showcase, gauging the pulse of young people who will influence, empower and shape the world we live in.

This year The West Australian Pulse artists explore themes of mental health and social pressures, gender and culture, environmentalism and technology.
